7 years of GTAinside
On the 17th of March 2001 a project named GTA3.net started and offered news, information, pictures and videos about the upcoming GTA III to a German-speaking audience. Seven years later many things have changed. GTA3.net turned into GTAinside, the main focus of the page changed from information about GTA to modifications for GTA and now people from all over the world are visiting our site. Due to this GTAinside is now available in English and German. Almost 30 million people visited this page in the last seven years and are able to choose from over 8,600 downloads and over 60 sections about GTA (most of them are not available in English yet, we are working hard to change this!).
Impressive numbers nobody could have dreamed of in 2001! But this success was only possible because of two main reasons. The first one is Rockstar Games! They created one of the most successful videogame series of all times! But there are many fansites about GTA out there. So you are the second reason for our success! We want to thank every visitor who helped us to become the most popular GTA fansite in the internet! This would not have been possible without all these great modders who created so many great stuff! Thank you guys, you are awesome!
Like we did two years ago, we gain shot a little video with Alex and me (Jan). You read our names over and over again in the news, but you do not know who we really are. So we made a little interview with questions from our forum members. Unfortunately the video is in German, but maybe you although like it. But we promise to make English videos in the near future!
