Notice
*** For people worried about bans: uninstall all your mods before going online (including ScriptHook.dll, dinput8.dll, and any other mod .dll/.asi files you have installed). By following this rule, I am not banned even though I've been developing this mod ***
Quick start
Press F7 (default) to toggle the mod.
Info
Financial meltdown. Apocalypse. Doomsday. You provide the scenario, and we'll provide the chaos.
In this mod, all the pedestrians have weapons, and every single one woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. While they'll target anybody, they'll also shoot you if you come too close, so watch your distance as you attempt to roam in this chaotic world.

- Initial release.
v0.2:
- Added ability to configure weapons given to peds, change toggle key, and tweak the number of rioters.
- Changed default key to F7.

- Fixed for Windows 7 users, updated for new Script Hook V version.
v0.4:
- Added config options to enable/disable cops and set rioter accuracy.
- Toggling the mod now reloads the config file.
- Minor bug fixes and optimizations.
v0.5:
- Added "all vs player" mode for ultimate challenge (see readme.txt)
- Fixed bug where rioters would sometimes warp into different animations (thanks for the report a_tavenner!)
- Tweaked rioter spawning
v0.5.1:
- "Fixed" bug where rioters spawned with grenades would stand idle (temporary fix, rioters are simply never spawned with grenades for now)
v0.6:
-Added factions, allowing users to configure teams of rioters!
v0.6.1:
-Fixed bug in reloading configuration, simplified config file and added better explanation of factions
Installation
Install Script Hook V
Put RiotMode.asi in your GTA folder alongside ScriptHookV.dll
Press F7 in an offline game to launch the mod

It would be nnice if 50% of them would have melee weapons and the others nothing.maybe few guys with pistols and smg

i have the same problem as Codename72, i cannot get this mod to work.
tried to remove all other mods, but still nothing.

How did you do it omgdude? I have downloaded both the file and NEWEST scripthook available.All my other mods are working, but this mod will not. Please someone help me!
This is my favorite mod and cheat. Grand theft auto 4's Gravity gun mod is a close second. All my other mods are working though.

A classic -must have- mod for the GTA! I would only suggest an option to toggle police on/off in an ini file (also an option to change the activation button would be nice). If it is possible heavier plice units or even helicopters would be nice to be activated and the cops would engage in combat with the riot peds. 10/10

I've been waiting a long time for this. I think you should add a part where there are cops and their spawning frequency is significantly increased so pedestrians and police can have wars in the street. Thank you for the mod, though.
